I love cheap natural CLEAN !

I don’t necessarily like cleaning. I have never loved the smell of pinesol and bleach scares the crap out of me. I do LOVE walking in to a clean home.

Feel free to send the magic cleaning Gnomes my way (thanks) .

But in the mean time,

Here my my house we use White Vinegar,  Lemons , HOT Water, Baking soda, Dried Herbs and Citrus peels and Essential Oils ( Peppermint, Tea Tree, Oregano )

I have been a experimental crunchy mom for a while , Jenevieve is great as making sticky messes ! 🙂 YUMMY BANANAS! Yucky brown weird sicky mess

My favorite all purpose spray is a magical blend… You will love it.

I Infuse my vinegar for two weeks

In a quart size mason jar I stuff :

Orange peel  from 1 whole orange

Lemon Peel from 1 whole lemon

Oregano about 1/2 cup ( I have used dried and fresh, either worked for me)

Rosemary as much as you can spare!

Pour in enough Vinegar to fill the jar up Half way

~I shake everytime I remember for two weeks.~

*strain*

and add

2 Droppers full Oil of Oregano

10 Drops Peppermint Oil

10 Drops Orange Oil

15 Drops Eucalyptus Oil

Fill a recycled spray bottle OR

Check out Crunchy Betty, she can show you how to make a mason jar into a sprayer.

Wool Sweater Pants for Baby!

Wool Sweater Pants for Baby!

Beautiful pants made from one of my mothers old sweaters. It was so easy to cut the sleeves and measure the inseam from a pair of pants that fit her now. I attached the band for the waist from the bottom part of the sweater. All together I made the pants and 2 butt sweaters from 1 sweater!!

Do you know all the wonderful things about wool?

I started a blog because…

I am quitting Facebook for a month :). Facebook free February.I hope to gather articles to help mothers who want to start Cloth diapering. Jenevieve is now 7 months and we have been cloth diapering for 6 months now. I love to sew and I hope to document some of my projects.

There are many reasons I cloth diaper. The Environment, The Savings $$, disposable diapers cause cracked skin, urinary tract infections and diaper rashes. Some of the chemicals in disposables are known carcinogens, that they are capable of disrupting the endocrine system and they can impair fertility. 😦 I have found out a lot more, its frightening.

I get happy about fluffy mail. I get happy every month that goes by that I don’t spend anything on diapers is awesome! ( there has only been 2 months but I am addicted to WAHM made diapers!) I hope mothers  out there can get educated and take a chance and try some of the cool diapering systems out there.
